Sept. 18 (Bloomberg) -- The pound erased gains against the euro and the dollar.
The pound was little changed after earlier snapping four days of declines versus both currencies as the Bank of England made an ``exceptional'' offer of extra reserves to the financial system.
The pound traded at 69.56 pence per euro by 10:32 a.m. in London, after earlier advancing as much as 0.2 percent, from 69.53 pence yesterday.
The U.K. currency was also at $1.9942, from $1.9947 late yesterday, when it fell below $2 for the first time in almost three weeks.
